During filtration and manufacture, low heat and acid conditions reduce the level of protein denaturing which preserves protein functionality.

As a valuable source of short chain amino acids and whey peptides, Whey Protein Isolate provides a valuable short to medium term release protein support.
 
The accompanying Whey Peptides can be utilised by the body in as little as 10 minutes after consumption, allowing the body to recover and repair almost immediately. While other short chain amino acids provide further protein release while being digested.

Immune boosting properties and antioxidants further support the body through times of stress and recovery from Protein fractions such as Lactoglobulin, Lactalbumin, Immunoglobulins and Bovine serum albumin.

Adequate protein intake can easily be reached while keeping undesirables to a minimum, such as carbohydrates, fat and lactose, which have all but been removed. This would not possible via the consumption of typical intact foods, nor would the protein functionality be of similar high quality.

Low levels of lactose can be of assistance to those with digestive related issues or lactose sensitivity.

WPI is typically treated with soy lecithin to improve dispersibility. The resulting product is referred to as ‘instantised’ Whey Protien Isolate.
